Local importer H Sky Trading Company received the Primaduta Award on November 29.

The award, presented by Indonesian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Dr Achmad Ubaedillah, was in recognition of bringing Indonesian products to the local market.

Other importers – Hui Huang Enterprise and Shiv Trading Company – received the silver award while Bintang Ria Sdn Bhd the received bronze award.

H Sky Trading Company has been the largest importer of Indonesian fast-moving consumer products for the past five years.

The ambassador said the value of Indonesia’s non-oil and gas exports to Brunei increased to USD240.1 million last year, compared to USD61.2 million in 2018 while non-oil and gas trade between the two countries rose from USD81.3 million in 2018 to USD316.8 million in 2022. – Lyna Mohamad
